Tabuk plant will be built and operated as a public-private partnership under the BOOT model, where an alternative sewage treatment plant with a tertiary treatment level will be constructed and operated by the Aleqad Water Treatment Company, northeast of Tabuk (there is previous environmental approval to establish a sewage treatment plant (3) and emergency outfall). It is planned that the operational capacity of the new Tabuk station will be 90,000 m³/day to triple-treat alternative wastewater and then transfer it via treated wastewater transmission line (TSE Pipeline) with a length of approximately 26 km to tanks with the aim of reusing this water.
